• Gas Type: Available for Natural Gas or LPG. Please specify your required gas type at the time of purchase.
• Water Quality: Suitable for standard NZ municipal water. Hard or acidic water supply systems will need to be treated to use this product safely.
• Exclusions: Please note that this unit is not suitable as a spa or swimming pool heater, nor is it designed for hydronic heating applications.
• Operating Noise: Operating at approximately 50-54 dB(A), the unit produces a low-level fan noise. Pratts recommends planning the installation location carefully, keeping it away from bedrooms or quiet living areas to ensure maximum indoor comfort.

Trade-Grade Installation & Clearance Requirements

For Kiwi gasfitters and installers, the HDi200 is designed for straightforward commissioning, provided servicing access is planned correctly. All continuous flow water heaters must be installed to ensure access can be gained for servicing and repair without hazard or undue difficulty. Pratts recommends maintaining a 600 mm clearance in front of the unit for servicing access, which can be safely reduced to 50 mm if the unit is integrated inside a cupboard.
