True Kiwi Innovation

The Pyro fire was developed by scientists at New Zealand’s Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), who set out to design the most efficient, cleanest-burning wood fire possible. Years of research produced the Pyro range.

Pyro fires burn less wood to hold their temperature. Their ceramic chamber, the Heat Sustainer, stores heat and releases it gradually and evenly over many hours.

Ultra-Low Emission Burners

Every Pyro fire is an Ultra-Low Emission Burner (ULEB), with emissions of just 0.3 g/kg – according to Pyroclassic, less than half that of most other clean-air wood fires. Thanks to the heat-storing chamber, the Pyro Mini burns around 0.9 kg of wood an hour and the Pyro Classic around 1.1 kg, saving you firewood and money.

Colour Range

A wetback can be added to any Pyro model. As Master Plumbers, we supply and install the fire and connect the wetback in one job.
